Wendy’s is no stranger to seafood and the brand originally offered a Cod Sandwich that has since been discontinued. In place of the Cod Sandwich, Wendy’s is now offering a Crispy Panko Fish Sandwich made with wild-caught Alaskan pollock fillet. The pollock fillet is fried up in a crunchy panko breading and paired with creamy dill tartar sauce, lettuce, dill pickles, and a slice of cheese on a fresh bun. The pollock fillet is said to have a buttery and flaky consistency, which works well with the savory notes of garlic and onion.
The new Crispy Panko Fish Sandwich at participating Wendy’s restaurants nationwide now through the 2021 seafood season.
